UPDATE REPORT ON LAND PURCHASAING PROJECT AT KHAMMAM

Dear beloved Friend, I hope you remember me sharing me about land purchasing project at our district capital city called Khammam for the benefit of children of Lepers, children of missionaries, Orphans, disabled children, Aged people, Bible college and etc.,………..

For last 12 months it has been strongly laid in my heart by Holy Spirit of God to pray and to seek God to buy a bit of land to open home for the children of missionaries and children of lepers particularly. Since 5 years land price went up like anything since lands went into hands of real estate people. Cost of the land went up at least 15 times in the last 5 years. In every city or town lands are in the hands of rich Real Estate people. Even if we go 20 miles from every city still price is like anything. For last 6 months we have been searching for at least 4 Acres land. But the cost is very high so we were struggling.

However, for last 3 months one land came up with reasonable price. It is 28 Acres. It is only just 8 miles from Khammam city just beside the Hyderabad highway. Still this land is in the hand of farmer. Therefore couple of times we went to the land owner and talked with him.  He has no trust on Real Estate people so he wants to sell his land to whom he can trust. When we first went to talk to him, he said price of the land US $ 520,930, (298,666 pounds) for 28 acres.  We kept on touching him and also other hand fasting and praying seeking God for His leading.

 On 1^st Feb he suddenly called me on the phone and he told me that he selling his land to some body but, he wants to see if we can buy it. He also said since you are buying for charity, I would like to come down from the first price. Then immediately we went to discuss with him. We told him truth that we don’t have money at this stage to pay total amount but we will pay 30% from total and the rest of the amount we will pay within one year. Then he came down from the first price lot of amount and he agreed for 30% payment in the beginning but he gave us only 6 months to pay 70%. We know we don’t have any promise from anybody and we have no amount for this purpose except 30% which we raised only for this purpose from last 6 months. Finally we felt in our hearts that God is leading us to take the agreement. On 2^nd Feb we have paid 30% amount and we took an agreement.

 What was the first price ?:    

$ 520,930 (Five hundred twenty thousand Nine Hundred thirty Dollars)

£ 298,666 (Two hundred Ninety eight thousand and six hundred sixty six pounds)

Euro 448,000 (Four hundred and forty eight thousand Euros)

 How much he reduced from 1^st Price?:

$ 172,093 (One hundred seventy two thousand Ninety three dollars)

£ 98,666   (Ninety eight thousand and six hundred sixty six pounds)

Euro 148,000 (One hundred and forty eight thousand Euros)

 What is the final cost after reduction?:

$ 348,837 (Three hundred forty eight thousands and Eight Hundred thirty seven dollars)

£ 200,000   (Two hundred thousands pounds)

Euro 300,000 (Three hundred thousands Euros)

 How much we paid as advance?:

30% from the total amount.

 (Note: This is all the amount we raised from all sources for this purpose since the day I began to share about this particular need)

 How much is Due amount?: 

$ 232,558 +9% Registration charges $ 32,558 together $265,116 (Two hundred sixty five  thousand and one hundred sixteen Dollars)

£ 133,333 (One hundred thirty three thousand three hundred thirty three pounds)

Euro 200,000 (Two hundred thousands Euros)

 How much time we have to pay the due amount?

We have to pay the due amount before the end of July 2006.

 We praise God, we got this land in the cost of 6 Acres, if this land would be in the hands of Real Estate people.

 What are our future plans in this land :

(1)        Home for the children of Lepers,   

(2)        Home for the Missionarie's children.

(3)        Home for the Orphans.                                               

(4)        Primary School & High School.

(5)        Christian University

(6)        Mission Hospital,

(7)        Church

(8)        Self Help training program

(9)        Bible College

(10)      Disabled Children’s home

(11)      Home for the Age People.                   

 This place is like a gold mine, since it is only 8 miles away from district capital city and it is just connecting with highway.  In the next one year cost will be nearly double if you compare with present market. 

 A). In the future this will be like GTSSS village; which means we can have all said projects in the same campus , we can also conduct 3 days Gospel crusade with 10 thousand people in the same campus if God will allows us .

 B).  Once we pay total amount within the period , first thing we will start home for the children of lepers.

 Home for the children of Lepers :  WE have been working in 7 leper colonies since 1997 . There are 700 leper families just living by begging and living in isolated places from local people. No body touch them and nobody make friendship with them. Their own families rejected them and sent them away from their homes and from their communities. If these lepers die on the way or some where no body even touch their dead bodies. But we love them and we are taking care of them. We are not providing all their daily needs but we are providing them some medical help, rice, blankets and etc whatever resources we have. 

 Whenever we go to leper colony, Lepers are taking my hands and crying and requesting me that, Pastor Jacob! we will die with this leprosy but what about the condition of our children? every day we are going for begging and living by begging so our children coming along with us for begging. If we die, our children will remain as beggars in the rest of their lives. In fact these children have no leprosy. They are crying and requesting us to start a home for their children . Keeping the point of their genuine request we are planing to start a separate home for their children in the future in the same campus . This is our first priority soon after we buy the land.

Home for the children of missionaries: At present 350 full time missionaries working in north and south India standing in the front line as full time missionaries to advance glories Gospel of Jesus. Most of our missionaries working in backward tribal villages where Gospel never been before. Our missionaries going through fiery persecutions and we are listening so many reports everyday how they are suffering. They are faithful to stand in the gap and they are willing to die for the cause of Gospel. When ever I visit our missionaries, I would see their children just playing in the bushes Since they do not have school and any proper care. Since one year it has been strongly burdened in my heart when our missionaries coming up and requesting me to take their children into our orphanages. We can not take missionaries children into orphanages because orphans need special love and care. Our missionaries says, Pastor Jacob you know! while we are serving the Lord in the villages, we are suffering like anything, our children left behind, they have no education and no medical care. Then our brothers says; would you please consider to start a home for our children? This has been in my heart and we all praying together concerning the request of my brothers to start home for their children.

 When we buy the land, we will start home for the missionaries children so that missionaries children can have education, food, clothing, and proper discipline. While my brothers working in the mission field their children will be cared, loved and disciplined.   

 Mission hospital: We have missionaries, believers, 851 orphans and needy children, elderly people, disabled children, school children, staff all together there would be 30000 people . They have no facility to go to hospital if they get sick unless they have money. Some times pregnant ladies would need to travel on bullock cots and some times people carry them for couple of miles before they go to sub road then they need to travel couple of hundred miles before they come to hospital. After they come to hospital they need money to see the doctor. We know so many people died on the way to doctor. Recently one of our missionaries son died because of rabies, one pastor named Silva Kumar left leg became pieces in the accident, one pastor had major surgery because his big bowel broken and he had only two hours to live, one brother named yesubabu shoulder bone broken and another brother suffering with Kidney problem. Today one pastor named K. Yesudoss came to our office with his son because son is suffering with heart problem. We need to hold responsibility to save our missionaries and our dear ones when they have something suddenly. I am not only willing to help my brothers but also I am willing to give my blood if some body is in danger position. So far we don’t have any our own hospital. God’s willing we are praying to start Grace Mission Hospital so that we can take care of our people and also we can help to poor non Christians.

 Orphans:  Today my orphans studying in the primary schools and high schools and some went to university. If we need to send them for higher education we need to pay so much money every year. Where shall we bring that much money to pay to our orphans, when they all come up for their higher education? God’s willing we are planing to start our own university in the future so that all our orphans, missionaries children, children of lepers and etc..,  we are also praying to start this project in the future in the Same ground.

 Dear respected friend, I would like to request you to pray for this great need. Some of my friends told me Jacob you should not enter to this big project to buy the land, You never get the money. If God has great purpose to bring thousands of people into His kingdom, who am I to limit Almighty God. Nothing is impossible to God. I shared my burden with all my friends, churches, orphans, missionaries and all dear ones in GTSSS family. They all are praying and some of my grown orphans fasting for 40 days and praying for this project. My wife Elizabeth and my self we have been seeking God in fasting since 12^th January 2006.

 Dear Friend, May I personally request you to pray for the resources to pay for the land due amount within the said time.  If all my friends would extend at least some contribution towards this project, we will be easily getting the land into our hands. I would also request you to inform this matter to your friends to pray together for God’s Glory.
