By the time they arrived our orphan children singing. Our leper believers already arrived to the campus by 8.30 A.M. We praise God we have no rain on this day.

God is so faithful and we felt mighty presence of God in this ground.  Most of the people came for this program with minister and other authorities are Hindus. I believe they never been to a Christian program like this. Pastor Yesuratnam (Bishop) did starting prayer, Brother Prasad read portion from James 1:27.  Than State Minister inaugurated main plaque. At the plaque I have spoken for few minuets to all the people present, thanking my God and thanking God’s people who made this project possible for the benefit of children of leprosy people and orphans. Then inaugurated main entrance of the building, office room of the home and boys & girls hostels.

Soon after the inauguration we had meeting for one hour. Our orphan children a sang a welcome song for the guests.  I had privilege of sharing brief report of our organization to explain them how it all began. Then I shared my testimony how Jesus healed me and saved me from my situation in 1978. We praise God this inauguration program not only giving opportunity to children but also we have privilege of sharing glorious Gospel Jesus Christ to all Government authorities and state minister who presented. I read emails of my dear friends who sent wishes for this program and I passed very special wishes to all the people present.  Inauguration program and speeches went well. At the end we have distributed blankets to 164 leper families. Then I invited my mother to come and pray for the meeting and closed meeting with word of prayer and blessing.  Government authorities and minister for the state appreciated our organization for doing such charitable activities for the poor and needy children and they have also thanked dear friends who contributed for this project for the benefit little children. State Minister requested us to consider to open a home for Aids children and for destitute aged people in the future.

We have expected only 500 people and we have prepared food for them. Normally it is tradition in India to prepare food for people who come for program like this. But when we started program there were over 1000 people. There would be at least 50 police man and other Government authorities too. So we have fed 500 people and cooked food for the rest of them and fed all the people. Food has been supplied to the people from 1.00 PM to 5.00 P.M.,   

We have already received 80 orphan and abandoned children and 40 children of lepers together 120 children. We have completed only ground floor of the building and inaugurated. This is basically living place for the children. On the top of the same building school is under construction which is not yet finished. God’s willing we are praying to finish the school rooms in the next coming months so that children can have living place and school in the same building.

I am so humble by seeing what God has done in this humble mission to reach others for Christ through His love and compassion. I am always aware in my heart with full of humanity that we could not do this work without your helping hands and prayers. We thank God for helping us to work together for his Glory.
